This introductory workshop is the starting point not only to our WISE programme but your own discovery of what is self employment. It will focus on:

• Skills, attributes and motivation needed to become your own boss
• Why starting a business is an option
• Future mapping – where you are now and where you want to be
• Transferable skills – what they are and how they can be transferred
• Business skills – what they are and how they can be developed
• Identification of obstacles and how to remove them
• Development of your own route map
• Next steps of the programme
