We sadly said goodbye to two of our Trustees, Laura McKnight and Jonathan Wallace who had been with us since 2017 and 2018, respectively, and we did so at our 11th November Board meeting. 

Jennifer McWilliams, CEO commended their exceptional commitment to the Antrim Enterprise Board:

I have benefited immeasurably from both Laura and Johnny’s sound guidance, attentiveness and collaborative approach.  It was an absolute pleasure working alongside them.

I would like to give a special mention to Jonathan Wallace, who was our Vice Chair, then our Chair for the last four years, and who dedicated a huge amount of time and expertise to working with me. The enterprise agency has grown, evolved and overcome many challenges under his leadership. 

Outgoing Chair, Professor Wallace paid tribute to the existing board:

I stand down knowing that there is a great board of colleagues and more than that, colleagues that have become true friends over the years including Declan Barry the incoming Chair and Janet Atkinson the incoming Vice Chair that will take Antrim Enterprise forward, growing the charity and providing much needed services to both local businesses and the community in the Borough.
