Build My Start Up Clinics Return to Antrim Enterprise
Antrim Enterprise has announces the launch of a new programme of Build My Start Up Clinics, beginning January 2026. The clinics are designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs and individuals across Northern Ireland who are preparing to start a business.
The relaunch brings a fresh, modernised approach to early enterprise support, offering small-group, practical clinics. The clinics will help participants gain clarity, confidence and a realistic Action Plan before progressing to formal business planning. We are delighted that Hopper and Co and NFU Mutual Crumlin have partnered with us to expand the reach across Northern Ireland.
They are aimed at individuals who have a business idea, side-hustle or early concept but still have questions around business structures, pricing, viability, legalities, tax, insurance, and marketing – areas that often cause uncertainty for new founders.
By providing straight-forward, jargon-free advice in a supportive setting, the clinics bridge the gap between initial curiosity and formal business support.
Each clinic lasts 1.5 hours and is delivered in a hybrid format, with participants choosing between:
- £10 online, or
- £15 in-person at Antrim Enterprise
To ensure personalised support, sessions are limited to 8 attendees. Participants work directly with an experienced Business Advisor during the session who will help to streamline their next steps.
The first clinic will take place on Thursday 8th January 2026, with monthly sessions running throughout the year.
The Build My Start Up Clinics cover essential early-stage business topics including:
- Business types and registration
- Assessing business viability
- Pricing and business costs
- Cashflow management
- Tax and record-keeping
- Legal responsibilities and insurance
- Marketing fundamentals
- Getting your message to the right customer
