Antrim Enterprise Agency is a leading enterprise centre in the borough of Antrim and Newtownabbey. We’ve been established since 1991 and are proud to be members of Social Enterprise NI, Development Trust NI and Enterprise NI.

We support individuals into self-employment and along their entrepreneurial journey regardless of where they are on that journey, and are trusted by many local businesses.

Summary

Hub Coordinator (Vacancy ID: 1628880): The heartbeat of the Town Centre Hub, this role ensures a warm welcome and smooth operations, from managing daily tasks to enhancing our online presence.

Business Development Manager (BDM) (Vacancy ID: 1628888): The talent behind strategic partnerships and funding, making sure the wheels turn smoothly while keeping an eye on the financial pulse.

Business Advisor (Vacancy ID: 1628894): This role means you”ll be the navigators, mentors, and networking champions, offering tailored support at every step of the entrepreneurial journey.

Details

Job Title: Hub Coordinator

Location: Antrim Town Centre Hub

Salary: up to £25,000

Work pattern:  Full time permanent.  37.5 hours / week. Flexibility required

across 7 working days with occasional evening and weekend work.

Key responsibilities

  • General administration work to include document creation, data generation, report writing, photocopying, laminating and scanning.
  • Running the virtual and on-site office services to include Inbound / outbound correspondence handling, switchboard duties, carrying out site visits for potential clients.
  • Managing the Front Office to include Greeting guests and clients, fulfilling catering requests, ensuring compliance with security processes.
  • Event coordination to include generating event bookings, managing reservations, managing client relationships and delivering events to agreed requirements.
  • Invoicing and following internal financial procedures.
  • Key holder responsibility

About You

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrable experience as an Office Coordinator or similar.
  • Experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Experience of creating, implementing and following organisation processes and procedures.
  • Experience in developing social media and content marketing campaigns.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage time critical tasks.
  • Experience of working to and delivering objectives and targets.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms, CRM, and accounts software.

Job Title: Business Advisor

Location: Antrim Enterprise Agency

Salary: up to £32,000

Work pattern:  Full time permanent 37.5hours / week (PT considered). Flexibility required

across 7 working days with occasional evening and weekend work.

Hybrid working – 3 days out of 5 in the office.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the BDM with the development of new programmes.
  • Contribute to tender submissions.
  • Deliver business pre/startup and business development support services, and be a trainer, mentor and coach to our entrepreneurs.
  • Support with preparation of business and financial projections.
  • Design and deliver training, seminars, and clinics.
  • Manage expenditure budgets, outputs and agreed income targets.
  • Recruit clients, to include entrepreneurs, community partners, and statutory partners, onto our programmes and initiatives.
  • Organise Networking opportunities and events.
  • Relationship building and account management with current clients.

About You

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrable and comprehensive experience in a Business Advisor or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring, training, and advising clients at different stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Experience with the preparation of business and financial projections.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and delivering on targets.
  • Experience in relationship building and account management.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Social Media platforms, CRM, and online meeting platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present it in a user-friendly format.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across all organisational levels, internally and externally, promoting a teamwork approach.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Antrim Enterprise Agency

Salary: up to £35,000

Work pattern:  Full time permanent 37.5 hours / week (PT considered). Flexibility required.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the CEO with the development of new programmes.
  • Create an enterprise culture in the organisation.
  • Identify business opportunities and funding avenues. Identify innovative and creative ways of generating revenue.
  • Support with preparation of business and financial projections.
  • Manage budget, contribute to operational plan and deliver on agreed income targets.
  • Lead on tender submissions.
  • Lead, coach and mentor the organisation’s Business Advisor.
  • Support with design and deliver training, seminars, and clinics. Deliver business pre/startup and business development support services, and be a trainer, mentor and coach to our entrepreneurs.
  • Recruit clients, to include entrepreneurs, community partners, and statutory partners, onto our programmes and initiatives.
  • Represent organisation at Networking opportunities and events.
  • Complete reporting for funders and Government agencies.

About You

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrable and comprehensive experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • Proven ability in leading and executing significant income generating campaigns.
  • Ability to create an enterprise culture in an organisation.
  • Proven experience with the tender process – from registration through to submission.
  • An understanding of business processes, business financial structures, cost recovery and profit.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring, training, and advising clients at different stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Social Media platforms, CRM and online meeting platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present it in a user-friendly format.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across all organisational levels, internally and externally, promoting a teamwork approach.
