Hours of Work:

 25 hrs/week – Varying: Monday – Friday. Must be flexible

 

Responsibility for:

 Providing business operational and marketing support to Antrim Enterprise staff as required within the company’s  range of facilities and services

 

Location:

 58 Greystone Road, Antrim, BT41 1JZ or other Antrim Enterprise facilities as required from time to time depending on work requirements

 

Overall purpose of the job:

 To support Antrim Enterprise staff to deliver the company’s  ‘ 2021-2016 Strategy’ with the vision To be the destination of choice for enterprise development, enabling budding entrepreneurs to develop and grow a successful business, thereby achieving their business dreams.

 

A Job Start position to provide a range of business and marketing support to Antrim Enterprise as they deliver company services & programmes

 

Key activities:

  1. To help deliver Antrim Enterprise ’s annual business plan targets and to assist staff to achieve their individual work plans & targets
  2. To deliver services which provide excellent customer service for Antrim Enterprise clients and stakeholders
  3. To assist with the delivery of Antrim Enterprise ’s marketing and promotional plans and actions as required
  4. To support Antrim Enterprise’s digital and print media actions as required
  5. To provide business and administrative support to Antrim Enterprise staff at peak delivery periods
  6. To provide staff cover during holidays and breaks as required
  7. To perform the job in accordance with the company’s employee handbook, policies and procedures.
  8. To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time.

 

Key Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  1. Either HND in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar subject area and minimum of one years’ experience working in a business environment or three years’ experience working in a business environment
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  3. Knowledge of social media platforms
  4. Knowledge of email marketing and website platforms (desirable)
  5. Proactive and able to manage workload with guidance from the Business Development Manager, making sure tasks are clearly understood and taking personal responsibility
  6. Strong written and oral communication skills
  7. Strong organisational and administration skills
  8. Methodical with an attention to detail
  9. Desire to learn, understand and apply new technologies and practices to the role
  10. Driven with the willingness to self-develop
  11. Positive, enthusiastic with strong work ethic
  12. Personal motivation to perform role to the highest standards
  13. Able to effectively engage with clients and constantly aim to optimise their experience
  14. Strong team player and ability to work independently

 

Any special requirements:

 To work flexible hours by agreement as required

  • A full clean driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes with evidence of appropriate insurance in place

 

 

Other Information:

 Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position.
