Our NETWalking meetings are simply that: networking that takes place during a walk instead of in a, boardroom, or coffee shop where networking events are commonly held.

Recent research finds that the act of walking leads to increases in creative thinking. This certainly supports the usefulness of walking meetings. Plenty of anecdotal evidence also suggests that walking meetings lead to more honest exchanges with associates and connections and are more productive than traditional sit-down meetings.

We are delighted for this event to team up with Cavehill Walking Club. Their group is buzzing with activity. They’ve got over a thousand followers on Instagram, a bustling Facebook community, and a lively WhatsApp group with over 100 members coordinating their hillside adventures. Their mission is simple but oh-so-important: they’re all about fostering connections – the kind we all need in our lives

Like all our traditional networking events, members of Antrim Enterprise team will ensure everyone gets to connect and talk to someone.

Whilst our NETWalking is at a slow to medium pace, it is important to note that everyone taking part do so at their own risk. You should assess your own level of fitness and health before booking. There are no official first aiders at the event. Antrim Enterprise will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any NETWalking event.

On booking, attendees are required to confirm they are content for dogs to be there; if even one person has a fear, no dogs, no matter how behaved are allowed. Otherwise dogs are welcome with their owners. They must be kept on a lead at all time and under the control of their owners.

All walkers should ensure they wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the walk and weather.
