The Go Succeed Start team hosts this in-person ‘Accessing Finance for Startups’ masterclass, facilitated by the team at Antrim Enterprise.

This masterclass will help start up business owners gain an understanding of what is available and how to access finance and the funding landscape supporting start up businesses in Northern Ireland.

Participants will develop an understanding of:

• Grants
• Loans – debt v. equity
• Competitions
• How to apply for grants and loans
• Legal issues
• What funders are looking for
• The funding market

About the Presenter

Stephen Ellis was a self-employed business consultant with over 15 years’ experience in helping companies access finance for business growth and now works for Antrim Enterprise as a business advisor.

Stephen’s previous employment includes various working as Innovation Manager at The Innovation Factory, and as a senior manager in several large food companies

Stephen recently helped a local company secure £2.5 million of grant funding.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, located in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area and neighbouring Council areas.
