Luke Roe’s magic touch hits the right spot with his sports massage business

Luke Roe set up RoeFLEX in January 2020, a sport massage and injury rehabilitation business aiming to help people in pain live pain free lives.
"I decided to set up my own business as I have always loved the idea of being my own boss, I’ve always been involved in sport and knew that I’d love to do something in that area/industry. Having my own business has always been something of a dream, and sport massage allowed me to have it!"
Covid among other things has been a challenge, being a mobile sport massage therapist timings can also be occasionally difficult to gage and so at the start timekeeping was an issue, however with leaving the right time gaps in between people this has been resolved. Another issue has been getting the booking system off the ground, a few teething problems at first but working a treat now.
Now Luke is booked out 4 weeks in advance. He is also hoping to bring on 1 or 2 people to help him out with bookings which will be a key achievement.

What is your business’s key strength
My business’s key strength would have to be the referral and loyalty scheme which keeps a flow of new bookings coming in daily!
How has the Business Start up Coaching Programme helped you ?
The coaching programme helped me in terms of laying out my options and paths clearly to allow me to make a clear and concise decision, having someone with that knowledge to talk and pick up the phone is a shortcut for making any mistakes.
