Local entrepreneur on a high from his new business venture

Ryan McCreanor who previously worked for the Canadian Government as a cannabis educator; returned home to Northern Ireland and noticed the CBD & medical cannabis industries were booming but there was a severe lack of trustworthy education.

Using his experience as an educator to retail staff for the government run cannabis stores across the province of British Columbia; in April 2020, he set up Sativa Learning, an e-learning platform providing trusted education for the emerging cannabis industry.

Ryan explains their focus is on β€œproviding credible & accredited education to the rapidly growing CBD & medical cannabis sectors. We work with industry experts to deliver training & education to the likes of healthcare professionals to better understand medical cannabis & offer better care for their patients. As the cannabis industry grows worldwide, the gap in cannabis knowledge grows with it. We are here to bridge that gap.

β€œOne of key strengths is our educational partnerships. We have partnered with world leading cannabis experts to develop the highest level of cannabis education.”

Following the coaching programme; where they found their Mallusk Enterprise coach a great source of information and a fantastic help in moving Sativa Learning a step closer to their goal of becoming global leaders in cannabis education; Sativa Learning were in a great position to apply and be successful for the Ignite Propel – a highly competitive start-up accelerator programme in NI.
